Frequently Asked Questions
The most important answers up front — if anything is missing, just ask me.
Is naturopathic therapy right for me?
Yes, if conventional methods haven't helped you further, if you would like to better understand your complaints, or if you would like a second perspective from a naturopathic point of view.
How long does support last?
The length of support is individual and can vary greatly depending on the topic. Sometimes a single initial consultation is enough; in other cases longer-term support is needed. Taking personal responsibility is very important here.
How long does an appointment take?
This is very individual; an initial consultation can easily take 1.5 to 2 hours, so please allow enough time. Follow-up appointments usually take 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Do you also offer online appointments?
Yes – in special cases it is simply not possible for patients to come to the practice. Don't hesitate to ask me about individual solutions.
Will my health insurance cover the costs?
No, costs are paid privately unless you have private supplementary insurance, which usually covers them. If in doubt, please contact your insurer directly. Self-employed people insured with the SVS can apply for the Gesundheitshunderter once a year and redeem it at my practice.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
If available, feel free to bring existing medical findings – otherwise there is a detailed case-history conversation and any tests, where we look for causes together. Please don't use hand cream before your visit (it interferes with electroacupuncture) and leave radio-controlled watches, mobile phones and hand jewellery in the anteroom.
How do I get an appointment?
You are welcome to send me a message via the contact form, call me, or book an appointment directly via online booking.
Is collaboration with doctors possible?
Support can of course take place in close cooperation with your GP or clinic, to create the best possible synergies for your recovery. Feel free to ask your GP to support you in this naturopathic approach – open exchange with your treatment team is particularly important to me.
Do I need a referral from a doctor?
No, you can contact me directly – an initial conversation is straightforward and possible without a referral.
Does support replace a visit to the doctor?
No. I do not replace a consultation with a doctor and I never advise against prescribed medication.
